This is a collection of songs we like by artists we believe in. In addition to bands currently signed to the label – THE FIFTH, Crashing Wayward and Ron Keel Band – we’ve gathered the best in the U.S., Europe, Australia, and South America; and like the bands, the music is all over the map. From progressive metal to throwback 80’s rock, from modern alternative to the swampy sounds of Muscle Shoals and beyond, these acts and their songs deserve to be heard and we at RFK Media are going to do what we can to spread the word.
Compilation albums like this were extremely important in the early days of my career. “Metal Massacre,” the first release by the now-legendary Metal Blade Records, became an important catalyst for the 80’s revolution and brought together the likes of Ratt, Metallica, Armored Saint, Black N Blue, and my band Steeler (it was the first album any of those bands were on). My next band KEEL first appeared on one of Mike Varney’s iconic “U.S. Metal” albums, which launched the careers of so many important musicians of that era. Our “Live The Rock” compilation series keeps that tradition alive.

ARTIST ANNOUNCEMENTS/RELEASE SCHEDULE
JANUARY 25: Initial Launch Announcement
RFK ALL STARS and the single "American Thunder" are included in this initial launch announcement, which will will take place on Ron's "Streets Of Rock N Roll" radio show on KRFKradio.com. This will coincide with a simultaneous press release (below) blitz on all social media and rock web sites. RFK Media's flagship artists - Crashing Wayward, THE FIFTH, Ron Keel Band - are also included in this first wave.
FEBRUARY 1-17: Daily Artist Announcements
Every weekday beginning February 1, we will have an "Artist Of The Day" announcement on radio and social media. The first artist announced will be Pamela Moore, who rose to rock & metal fame as the voice of Sister Mary on Queensryche's legendary "Operation Mindcrime" album.
Each day at 9:00 AM Eastern, Ron Keel will go live on KRFK, make the "Artist Of The Day" announcement, and play that track. Those announcements will be replayed on KRFK at 6:00 PM daily.
Interviews from select artists will take place on consecutive Wednesdays (February 8th & 15th) on the "Streets Of Rock N Roll." radio show. The final artist announcement will take place Friday, February 17.
FEBRUARY 17: "American Thunder" (first single) Digital Release Date
Coinciding with the final artist announcement, RFK Media/Amplified Distribution will release the single "American Thunder" by Ron Keel and the RFK ALL STARS to iTunes, Spotify, Amazon, and all digital platforms.
MARCH 17: "LIVE THE ROCK Volume One" Physical (CD) Release Date
The worldwide physical release will coincide with the 2023 Nashville Rock N Pod Expo & KEELFEST 2.
APRIL 21: "LIVE THE ROCK Volume One" Digital Release Date
RFK Media/Amplified Distribution releases the entire compilation to iTunes, Spotify, Amazon, and all digital platforms.
